The Mind Behind Midlife Musings…

Welcome to  Midlife musings. A place where I come to write about topics relevant to the middle decades of our life  – and the ways we are rocking it! Whether you are still raising kids, launching young adults, are an empty nester, welcoming grandchildren or perhaps don’t have kids at all, we are at a fantastic time in our lives! Now is the time to discover our interests and gifts. We can (finally) spend some time on ourselves, have long meaningful conversations with friends (or our spouses), let go of competitiveness and judgement (your kid did what?) and focus on lifting each other up! Exercise class, yes! Coffee after? Even better! Girls weekend? Absolutely.  Finding that cause we truly believe in and advocating for it… this is what these years are about.

About me: I was born in 1963 – the tail end of the baby boom generation. Raised with seven siblings by two fantastic parents. Married to Joel Prichard since 1990. I have two adult children, two dogs and a large extended family living in the same town!

I retired from a 35 year career in marketing and advertising in 2022. I have also been teaching group fitness for over 20 years. I’m an advocate for mental health care, love to serve on boards and volunteer (crazy, I know) and believe empathy is the greatest gift (after love) we can give each other and that we are absolutely never too old to try something new!

I’m glad you took the time to stop by and read my blog. Maybe you’ll be able to relate to some of my observations and experiences.. Who knows. After all, we are all in this crazy life together!

Here’s to thriving in the middle years!

Peggy
